What Is “Mirror” Download?

QUESTION:
I saw links which say “Mirror 1″ or “Mirror 2″ and so on on your episodes download page. What exactly is “mirror”, and what does it have anything to do with my download?
ANSWER:
“Download” links which you saw are the “main” download for given episodes. Say the main “download” is from Megaupload. Now “mirror” download would be on OTHER filehost other than Megaupload, OR the same filehost but with DIFFERENT link.
OK, to put it simply, let’s say main “download” link is down. Like, you go to the link (say Megaupload), and it says file is temporarily unavailable. This is when you can use “mirror” download instead! IF “mirror 1″ is also down, you can try the next mirror, which would be “mirror 2″, so on and so forth.
Mirror downloads are also useful if the file you downloaded from main download link isn’t working properly on your PSP, because we sometimes had DIFFERENT encoded files on different mirrors.
Hope this helps!
