How Do I Put Video On My PSP?

QUESTION:
How do I put video on my PSP?
ANSWER:
There’s actually not much difference of putting video on your PSP than how you put music on your PSP, with some additional details.
First off, there are TWO ways of putting video on your PSP, which are;
1. By transferring video files from your computer to your PSP.
2. By downloading video files straight off from the Internet through your PSP.
And what we are going to explain here is the FIRST one, since the second one is pretty straightforward.
BUT BEFORE THAT!!!
What you’ve got to remember is the video file that you are going to transfer to your PSP should be in MP4 format! How to check this? It must have .MP4 at the end of the filename. Eg. “Naruto_Opening4_Closer.MP4″. Got it? Remember, it’s MP4, NOT MP3!
So let’s begin with the first step to get Naruto videos and episodes on your PSP;
1. Go to this page and click any desired episode to be downloaded. The episode will be downloaded to your computer (If you need more help on this, please check our list of questions).
2. Now, take your PSP and your USB cable, and plug your PSP to your computer with the USB cable that you have. If you need help with connecting this, please refer to your PSP manual.

Your PSP USB cable will look like this
3. Switch on your PSP (that power slider on the right hand side of your PSP), then navigate around the menu using the left and right buttons on your PSP, and find “Settings”. Under “Settings” find “USB Connection” and hit the X button on your PSP.
4. You should now see “USB Mode” on your PSP screen. Leave it like that. In the meantime, your computer should automatically detect the connection from your PSP. Usually you will be presented with options to “open folder to view files”. Choose this. If not, you can go to My Computer, and look for a new drive (usually C: is your hard drive, D: is your CD drive, then your PSP should turn up as E:).
5. You’ll see a few folders like ISO, MUSIC, PICTURE, PSP, etc. on this new drive. The folder that you are aiming now is “VIDEO” folder. Go to this “VIDEO” folder.
6. Now, drag the MP4 video file or episode that you have downloaded from our site earlier into this “VIDEO” folder. If you have downloaded several MP4 video files, you can drag them all at once into this “VIDEO” folder too.
7. Once all transfers are done, go back to your PSP, and simply hit the button O to break the connection to your computer.
8. Plug off the USB cable, and now on your PSP navigate around and look for “Video”. Under “Video”, choose “Memory Stick” by hitting X. Now, see, your video files, or Naruto episodes, are ready to be played on your PSP!
IMPORTANT!!!
If you see your video turned up as “unsupported data”on your PSP, try to put the file into “MP_ROOT/101ANV01/” folder OR “MP_ROOT/100MNV01/” folder. If you don’t see any folder by these names, CREATE THEM!!
Good luck!

There should be TWO folders inside MP_ROOT. Put the file inside 101ANV01 folder, NOT 100MNV01.
You should pay attention to the FOLDERS’ NAME! They’re almost the same name, but they’re both for DIFFERENT TYPES OF VIDEO FILES!
This is really just the basic stuff.
